Marketing Manager UK & Ireland

Key Accountabilities

  • Elaborate a marketing and trade marketing plan for UK & Ireland, aligned with EU marketing and local sales, and execute. There must be a yearly plan in line with overall objectives of TCL and also an action plan split in quarters.
  • Propose key products launch and Go to market plans, align with EU marketing, EU Products Management and local sales and execute.
  • Deliver a PR & Social media plan, together with EU marketing and execute.
  • Manage the marketing budget for the country within the granted amount.

Job Duties

  • Build the marketing strategy and budget plan in cooperation with EU Marketing Director and UK & Ireland country manager based on a structured analysis of the markets, retail segmentation, competition, end user trends.
  • Ensure efficient spending of local marketing budget and is accountable to keep local marketing spending within validated budget.
  • Coordinate with sales team to maximize the effectiveness of activities and develop on/offline omni-channel best practices.
  • Establish the COOP marketing plan with key customers to reach sales target.
  • Builds retail launch plan and Go To Market plans for UK & Ireland in cooperation with
  • Marketing team and local sales team based on a structured channel segmentation, including sales out target and follow up dashboards.
  • Adapts training programs developed by EU Marketing team to local needs and supports local teams in the execution of training program.
  • Build PR & Social media plan, in line with EU marketing guidelines. Work with local PR agency to ensure that the plan and activities are locally well executed.
  • Manage content used to promote brands and products of key online retailers.
  • Collaborate with EU Marketing team to ensure that retailers and pure players e tailers web sites are well adapted to local needs and work with social media agency to develop local TCL visibility in social media.

Candidate profile:

  • Min. 5 years’ experience in marketing of durable/consumer goods
  • Proactive, accountable, “digital” minded, self-driven, flexible, creative, positive.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Location: Our office is in Slough.
